Arora Pharmaceutical

We are right in the middle of Punjabi Market at number 1479. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it’s a total maze and always packed with people. Arora Pharmaceutical has been here for a long time. The shop is small and every inch of wall space is covered with shelves full of medicine boxes. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. We have an old ceiling fan that clicks while it spins, and the floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We spend our days helping people find what they need and talking to the distributors who navigate their bikes through the narrow lanes. There isn't any room for fancy displays or marketing posters. We just have the stock and a small counter where we do the billing. It’s noisy outside with the shopkeepers shouting and the rickshaws honking, but we are used to it. We take our breaks when there is a lull in the crowd, usually grabbing a tea from the stall across the lane. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on the fact that people know we’ve been here forever. It’s a simple, old-school way of doing business. We know most of our customers by name and they know us. It’s just how things are done in a place like this.
