Tumus Engineering Works

Tumus Engineering Works is located at Plot No. 5-6, right near the Reliance Petrol Pump in Pansagar Colony. Being on Rewa Road and NH-75 means there is a lot of heavy truck traffic passing by at all hours. It is a noisy spot, and the air is often thick with the smell of diesel and hot metal. We do engineering work here, which mostly means we are fixing things or making parts out of steel and iron. The shop is big enough for our machines, but it always feels a bit cramped because of all the scrap metal and tools lying around. We have some old lathes and welding equipment that have been with us since we started. They are not the newest models, but they get the job done if you know how to handle them. Our hands are usually covered in grease or soot by lunchtime. We do not have an office staff or anyone to answer the phone, so if we are working a machine, you might have to shout to get our attention. It is a dusty, loud environment, but that is the nature of this kind of work. People bring us things that are broken beyond repair, and we see what we can do to make them work again. It is just steady, hard labor every day out here on the highway.
