You can find us on the first floor of the School Major Shaab Complex. It’s right by the new bus stand in Shardapuram, which is a lucky spot because there is always something happening outside. Rewa is a good place to be, and being near the BNP makes it easy to give directions. We are in Shop No. 1. It’s a small space, but we make it work for the few of us who work here. The stairs to the first floor are a bit steep, so we tell people to take their time coming up. Most of the day is spent handling paperwork and talking to the folks who come in after getting off a bus. It’s a lot of manual entry and checking ledgers. We have a small window that looks out toward the street, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the computer screen. We aren’t a huge corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a local office where we know most of the people who walk in by their first names. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. Sometimes we run out of pens or the stapler jams, but that's just part of a normal day. We like the rhythm of this area. It feels busy and alive. Even when it’s raining hard outside, we are usually here, drinking tea and making sure the records are kept straight. It's just what we do here.
