About Royal Perfumery Works – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Rewa
Being tucked away behind SPS Mall is actually quite nice because we don't get all that heavy noise from the main road. Our place is mostly filled with bottles of different sizes and various oils. The smell inside is always a mix of five or six different things at once. We don't have a shiny storefront. It’s more of a workshop where we actually do the mixing and the pouring. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spills because working with liquids can be messy. Our hands usually smell like jasmine or sandalwood even after we go home for the day. There are rows of shelves with handwritten labels on them so we don't mix up the batches. We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. It’s just a few of us working here. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer phones all day. If the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. Sometimes the heat makes the scents even stronger in the afternoon, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It isn't a glamorous job, but we like the work. People from the neighborhood know where we are, even if we are hidden behind the big mall. We just keep our heads down and do the blending.
