Om Associate

Our place is right in front of the bus stand, which means there is never a dull moment. You can hear the conductors shouting and the engines idling all day long. Being Om Associate, we deal with a lot of people who are just passing through or coming into town for the day. The location is the main thing about us. It's a small space, mostly just a desk and some chairs for visitors. Since we are so close to the transport hub, we get a lot of walk-ins asking for directions or help with various services. We keep the door open most of the time to catch the breeze, though it brings in the noise too. We’ve been at this spot for several years now. It’s a convenient place for people to stop by before they catch their bus home. Our daily routine involves a lot of talking and filling out forms. It’s not a quiet office by any means. We usually have a news channel running on a small TV in the corner. The tea guy from the stall next door comes by three times a day. We don't have a fancy corporate structure. It's just a few of us handling the local needs. We know most of the bus drivers by now. It’s a busy, noisy, but productive life here by the station. You just learn to talk a bit louder over the sound of the horns.
