We are set up in Kareli, right across units 37, 38, 39, and 40 in Sunrise Section-A. It’s a decent sized space when you put all those sections together. We do a lot of sewing and cutting here every single day. The machines make a lot of noise, so you can usually hear us working from the street. It’s mostly about making clothes that people actually want to wear in their daily lives. We don't do anything too experimental, just standard stuff that fits well. There are piles of fabric in different colors sitting around the worktables. Some days are faster than others depending on how many orders came in the week before. We have a few local workers who have been with us since we moved into the Sunrise area. They know exactly how we like things done. Sometimes we run out of thread or a machine breaks down, and everything stops for an hour while we fix it. That's just part of the routine. We don't have a big fancy office, just some chairs and a table for when we need to eat lunch or talk about the schedule. Kareli is a busy place, and we fit right in with the other shops around here. We just keep our heads down and try to finish the stacks of work before the weekend hits. It's a simple way to make a living for all of us.
