Maa Ram Vati

If you look for Shop No-86, you’ll find Maa Ram Vati. We are right near the Iti Govt. Collage in Koshak. Since we are so close to the college, we see a lot of students and teachers walking past every single day. It makes the area feel very alive. Our shop is just a small place. We don't have anything extravagant. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and us. We sell things that the locals and students need. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just open up in the morning and wait for customers to come in. Sometimes it’s very busy and other times it’s quiet enough to read the newspaper or chat with a neighbor. We like being part of the Koshak community. It’s a simple way to make a living. We know many of the students by name, and we see them grow up and move on after they finish their studies. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright lights. People come to us because they know we are here and we have what they need at a fair price. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ll probably be here for a long time yet, just doing what we do and watching the world go by outside.
