Laxmi Plastic Industries

Down here in Anand Nagar, near Bapu Shiksha Mandir, you’ll find Laxmi Plastic Industries. We are in Ward No 8. It’s more of a workshop feel than a store. We work with plastic materials every day. The machines make a bit of noise, but the neighbors are used to it by now. It’s not a huge operation with hundreds of workers. Just a few of us making sure things get done right. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage. Boda Bag is a quiet enough area most of the time. We don't have a website or anything fancy. People just know where we are by word of mouth. We spend our mornings setting up the equipment. It can get pretty messy with all the scraps, but we clean up when we can. We just make plastic parts and items that other businesses or people need. It’s basic work, nothing too complicated. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late, which slows us down. That’s just part of the business. We don’t mind the long hours as long as the work is steady. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite a while now. We just keep our heads down and do the job. There is no point in pretending to be bigger than we are. We are just a local industry doing our best with what we have and keeping the wheels turning.
