About Shataroopa Art & Craft – Art & Craft in Rewa
Shataroopa Art & Craft is at Shop No. 8. It’s a small shop, but it’s packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of creative supplies. We have rolls of paper, jars of paint, and brushes of every size tucked into every corner we could find. It’s the kind of place where you have to be careful where you step so you don’t knock over a stack of canvases or a box of beads. We’ve been running this little shop for a while now. It’s not very modern at all, and the wooden counters are stained with different colors of ink and glue from years of use. We don't really have a big staff, just us behind the counter most days of the week. People who enjoy making things usually find their way to our door eventually. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we often have to take things out to the front of the shop to see the true colors in the natural daylight. We don't follow any corporate rules here. If we’re busy talking to a customer about a new project they are starting, the phone might just ring for a bit until we can get to it. It’s more of a creative space than a regular retail one. The back room is where we keep the bulkier items, and it’s always a bit of a mystery what’s hidden back there. We enjoy being part of the local art scene in our own small way. It’s a humble shop, but it has everything a person might need to start a new hobby today.
