Royal Masale

My family has been here in Village Mangloona for a long time. We set up Royal Masale right near the old bank building in Ward No. 7. It is not a huge factory or anything fancy like that. Just a place where we get the spices ready for the local kitchens around Lachhmangarh. Most days it smells like turmeric and chili powder around here. We spend a lot of time checking the seeds and dried peppers before they go into the grinders. People usually find us by looking for the bank building because the street names aren't always clear to everyone. It gets dusty, and the machines make a lot of noise, but that is how work goes. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the packets are filled right. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to dry things out properly, so we have to wait. It is a slow process if you want it done the right way. We grew up eating these same things, so we know what people expect when they cook at home. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The village is quiet mostly, but our shop stays busy enough. If you walk past, you will probably see us loading sacks onto the back of a small truck. It is just basic work, day in and day out, keeping the kitchen jars full for the families who live nearby. We hope the rain stays away today because the roof leaks in the corner.
