Vardaan Resorts Patnitop

You’ll find us up in the Padora Enclave area of Patnitop. It’s a pretty spot, mostly because of the trees and the way the air feels once you get up this high. We built this resort to give people a place to stay while they explore the hills around here. It’s not a fancy hotel with elevators and bellhops in hats. It’s more of a set of buildings where you can have some privacy and a decent bed. We have some open space out front where people like to sit and watch the mist come in over the mountains. The weather changes fast up here, so we spend a lot of time making sure everyone stays warm enough. Our kitchen isn't anything world-class, but we make solid meals that taste like they were made in a regular home. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit when there’s a storm, but that’s just part of life in the mountains. We’ve got a small team of locals who help run the place. They aren't polished corporate types; they're just hard-working people who know the area well. If you want to go for a walk, they can tell you which trails are muddy and which ones have the good views. It’s a simple, honest place to stay for a couple of nights. We try to keep the blankets thick and the tea hot for everyone who visits. It’s just us and the mountains out here.
