Oral & Dental Care Centre

Doda is a place where everyone kind of knows where everything is, and Dar Mkt is always a hub of activity. That is where we set up the Oral & Dental Care Centre. It’s not a large building, just a practical space for dental work. You can hear the sounds of the market from the front window, which is quite nice actually. Inside, the walls are a plain color and the dental chairs are positioned so there is enough room to move around. We see people from all parts of Jammu coming through the door. Some come for a quick check and others have more complicated things going on with their teeth. It gets dusty outside sometimes, especially when the wind picks up in the market, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. There is a small desk where we keep the appointments written down in a big ledger. It feels real and grounded here. We don’t use any of those shiny posters you see in big city offices. It’s just a place in 182202 where people can get their mouths looked at without any fuss. The lighting is functional and the tools are kept in their right places. Most days are busy, but there is always time for a quick hello to the neighbors. It’s a straightforward job and we just keep at it day after day, year after year, just helping whoever walks through the front door of the shop.
