Out here in Village Baile, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We are located in the Chinyas Chilli Pingal area of Tehsil Gandoh. If you are looking for us, we are right near the BSNL tower, which is the easiest way to find the clinic. We do polyherbal treatments and hijamah, so the clinic often smells like dried plants and various oils we use. It’s a simple space with some wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We get patients coming in from all over the village and the surrounding parts of Gandoh. The clinic is basically a couple of rooms where we keep our supplies and do the cupping sessions. Dr. Arif and the staff spend the day talking to people about their health and preparing the herbal mixtures. It’s pretty quiet except for the birds outside or the occasional sound from the BSNL tower nearby. We don't have a computer system or anything like that; we just use paper notebooks to write everything down. The light comes in through the small windows, and we usually have the door open to let in the fresh air. It is a humble place, and we just try to help folks with the traditional methods we’ve been using for years. People come by foot or on their scooters, and there is always a bit of conversation going on near the door while people wait for their names to be called.
