Deepak & Comapny

Deepak & Comapny has been operating out of Katra for a long time now. You can find us on Reasi Road, specifically near the Post Office in Seela. It is a bit of a drive from the main town center, but we like being out here where there is a little more room for the trucks. We handle a variety of general trading goods. The office is quite small and usually has papers scattered all over the desk because we are always busy with orders. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us managing the phone and the inventory. The weather in Reasi can get pretty rough during the monsoon, and sometimes the road gets a bit muddy, but we try to stay open regardless. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking that the latest shipment arrived in one piece. We do not have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just try to get the orders filled so people can get on with their own work. It is a lot of repetitive tasks, checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs when it is a slow afternoon. It is an honest living and we have gotten to know a lot of the local drivers over the years. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just a regular one for the folks nearby.
