Jagdamba Traders

Jagdamba Traders is situated on Convent Road. We are very close to the Jyoti Mahal Hotel, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop is a bit tucked away, but most locals know where to find us. We have been in this location for many years. The entrance is a bit narrow and we usually have some stock sitting out on the sidewalk. Inside, it is a bit dark because the building is old and doesn't have many windows. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling. We use a tall wooden ladder to reach the things on the top. It can be a bit dusty in the corners where the broom doesn't reach easily. We deal in all sorts of goods that people need for their homes or small projects. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together forever. We handle the sales and the lifting ourselves. Convent Road gets quite busy during the day with school traffic and people going to the hotel. We usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just like being a part of the neighborhood and helping out the people who come through our door. It is a simple life and it suits us just fine.
