Larsen&Toubro Limited

Our office is located on Alimabad Street in Rayachoti, which is part of the Kadapah district in Andhra Pradesh. It is a place that gets very hot for most of the year, so we spend a lot of time just trying to stay cool while we handle the business for Larsen&Toubro Limited. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their daily lives, and there are a lot of small shops around us. We have been here at door number 28/144 for quite a while now. It’s not a grand office building, just a regular place where we come to work every morning. Most of the staff here are locals or have moved from nearby towns, so we all know the area pretty well. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing; it’s more about getting the job done and going home to our families. The work involves a lot of looking at plans and making sure the logistics for our projects are moving along. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just manage it like everyone else does in Rayachoti. It’s a simple setup. We like the fact that we are integrated into the neighborhood rather than being stuck in some isolated industrial park. You can hear the sounds of the town all day long, and it keeps us feeling connected to the reality of the people we are working for in this region.
