Shiwani Enterprises

We’re located at Nahar Chowk in Koiriya Tola, right in front of the new bus stand here in East Champaran. It’s a lively area because of all the travelers coming and going from the buses. We’ve been running Shiwani Enterprises from this spot for a good bit of time. We deal with various goods and supplies that people in this district need. The shop is usually crowded with stuff because we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. It’s not the most organized place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is tucked away. We spend a lot of time sitting out front, greeting people as they walk by or wait for their bus. It’s a good way to hear the local news and find out what people are looking for. We don’t have a big corporate office or anyone in a tie. It’s just us in our regular clothes, dealing with customers one by one. Sometimes the heat in East Champaran is enough to melt you, so we keep the water jug full and the fan running. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people just see the sign when they get off the bus or hear about us from a neighbor. It’s a practical business, built on being there when someone needs a specific item or some help with a purchase. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure the shelves stay mostly full.
