Global Traders

Our office is tucked away right behind the Nagarpalika in Koiriatola. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't specifically looking for it, but we actually like it that way. It is a bit quieter than the main road nearby. We are traders, so our space is often filled with cardboard boxes and samples of whatever we are moving at the time. There is a lot of talking on the phone and writing down new orders in big paper ledgers. We still use paper for a lot of things because it’s just easier for us to track everything. The room is a bit small, and the furniture is mostly mismatched stuff we’ve picked up over the years. We have an old ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it's on high, but it keeps us cool enough. Most days, we are just busy coordinating various deliveries and checking on our current stock levels. The Nagarpalika building next door means there are always people walking around during the day, so it never feels too lonely here. We know the local tea delivery guy by his name, and he comes by twice a day like clockwork. We don't have a website or any of that fancy modern stuff; we just deal with people directly. It’s a simple way to run a business. We show up in the morning, open the books, and see what needs to be shipped out today.
