Out here in Rawatbhata, at Anukiran Colony, things move at their own pace. We are based in T Iii 12/E, which is a fairly quiet spot if you compare it to the bigger cities like Kota. Dodsal Private Limited has a presence here because there’s work to be done in this part of Rajasthan, and we are the ones doing it. The office is pretty basic, with just the essentials needed to manage the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time coordinating with people who are out at the various sites nearby. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking figures to make sure everything adds up at the end of the month. The weather out here can be really dry and hot, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the day. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and people know who we are. Some of the guys have been with the company for years and have moved their families into the area. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk when we describe what we do. It’s just engineering and management work that needs a steady hand and a bit of patience. That’s pretty much the story of our branch here, just working away in the heat.
