Noton Maity & Co.

We operate out of Ratulia, which is a small village under the Panskura police station. It’s quiet out here in Purba Midnapur, and we like it that way. Noton Maity & Co. isn’t some massive firm with hundreds of people. It’s just us working out of our local office near the post office. Most of the people we deal with are from the surrounding villages. We’ve lived here our whole lives, so we know everyone by their first name. The work isn't flashy. We handle our accounts and paperwork without much trouble. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we make do with what we have. Our building is right on the main path through the village. You’ll often see people stopping by to chat or ask for advice on something. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one near the door. The weather really dictates how our day goes. If it’s raining, everything slows down. During the winter, it’s quite pleasant to sit outside and do the logs. We don’t have a human resources department or any of that stuff. If there's a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been part of the Ratulia community for a long time and we plan on staying. It’s a simple life, and the work keeps us grounded in the village.
