Tanmay Sachin Foundation

We started the Tanmay Sachin Foundation right here in Juve, which is part of the Rajapur area in Ratnagiri. If you know this part of Maharashtra, you know it gets pretty quiet and the greenery is everywhere during the monsoon. We are based out of A-Juvep-Dalepal, specifically at Preeti Sumant Karanje’s place. It isn’t a big fancy office building with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular spot where we get our work done. Some days it is quite hot, and we just sit and plan what needs to happen next. Being in a place like Juve means we see our neighbors every day and everyone knows who we are. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us trying to make things work from this corner of the district. The address is 416702 for the post, but most people just find us by asking around. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we keep moving. It’s a simple life here in Ratnagiri. We spend a lot of time talking to folks in the village. There is no corporate ladder here, just us sitting around a table in Juve-Dalepal. We decided to set this up because we saw things that needed doing right in our own backyard. It's honest work and we take it one day at a time without much fuss or noise.
