Suryaratna Foundation

Our address is House Number 375 in Ekrukhe, which is in the Rahata Taluka. Suryaratna Foundation is based right here in this local community. It’s a small place, and everyone around here pretty much knows everyone else. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass doors. Instead, we work out of a regular house that has been set up for our foundation's needs. It’s practical because we are right in the middle of where things happen. Rahata is the kind of place where things move at their own speed. We follow that same rhythm. Our desks are usually covered in papers and ledgers because there is always a lot to keep track of. We don't use much marketing or try to sound like a big organization. We are just local people working in Ekrukhe. Most of our visitors are neighbors or people from nearby villages who walk over to see us. We offer a seat, maybe some water, and then we talk about whatever they came for. It’s very informal. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work by the window light until it comes back. That’s just how it is here. We are happy with our small setup at H. No. 375. It’s been our home for the foundation for a while, and it works for us. We just take one day at a time.
