Sm adhesives

Our workshop is Sm adhesives and we are based at plot no.b 82 in the Lote MIDC area. This is in Chiplun, which is a beautiful part of Maharashtra, though it gets incredibly wet during the monsoon months. Sometimes the rain is so heavy we can barely hear each other talk over the sound of it hitting our metal roof. We work with glues and sticky stuff all day. It’s the kind of job where your hands never stay clean for very long. We aren't some massive factory with thousands of workers. It’s just a small, dedicated group of us here at B-82. We spend our time mixing batches and testing how well things stick together. The Lote industrial area is a bit out of the way, but we like the quietness of the location when the machines aren't running. We don’t put out big advertisements or use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make adhesives that people need for their own projects or small businesses. Most of our visitors are truck drivers picking up loads or suppliers dropping off raw materials. We have a small kettle for tea in the corner, and that’s where we spend our breaks talking about the weather or local news. It’s a simple life in Chiplun, focusing on making one thing and doing it as well as we can.
