If you look for us, you’ll find us out in Ratnagiri, specifically in Gimhvane which is part of the Chiplun taluka. We are based out of Vijay Anant Palkar’s place. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities, and that suits us just fine. Life moves at a different pace here in Maharashtra. We are not some big corporation with branches everywhere. It’s just us here in the village. Most of us have grown up around these parts and know the people living next door and down the road. We spend a lot of time just talking to neighbors and seeing what’s going on in the community. It’s not always easy, especially when the monsoon hits and everything gets soaked, but we manage. We don’t have glossy brochures or a team of people in suits. We usually just meet up in the afternoon when chores are done. Sometimes we sit on the porch and figure out what needs to be tackled next. It’s very much a grassroots thing. We just wanted to do something for the area since we live here too. There is a lot of heart in what we do, even if we don’t always get the paperwork perfect the first time. We are just local people trying to be useful in our own small way.
