Kasturi Pharma

Kasturi Pharma is located at Shelar House, No. 393. We are right near Desai High School in the Juna Malnaka area. It’s a busy little corner of the world. I started this pharmacy because the neighborhood needed a reliable place for medicines. We stock the usual stuff, from basic painkillers to more specific prescriptions that people need for long-term health. The shop isn't very big, but we use every inch of the shelf space. It’s just me and a couple of assistants who know the stock well. We deal with a lot of parents from the school and elderly folks living nearby. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, checking labels and talking to customers about how to take their pills. We don't do any flashy advertising. People know where we are. Sometimes it gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many small boxes, it’s a constant task. We aren't part of any big medical group; we are just a local independent shop. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but Shelar House has stayed pretty much the same. We just try to be helpful and make sure we have the basics in stock so nobody has to go all the way to the city center for their medicine. We stay open until late evening most days.
