Sanjivani Clinic

Working here at Sanjivani Clinic inside the Sahil Complex is mostly about the routine. We are located on White Sea Road, which is a busy enough street for this part of town. Most mornings start with the sound of shutters opening all along the complex. Our spot isn't too hard to find once you get into Sahil Complex. I usually spend the first twenty minutes just tidying up the magazines and making sure the water cooler is full. White Sea Road has a lot of traffic, so there is always a bit of a hum in the background while we work. The walls are painted a light color, though they could probably use a fresh coat one of these days. People from the nearby buildings often drop in without an appointment just to ask a quick question. We don't mind much. It is a fairly small space, so things can feel a bit cramped when five or six people are waiting at once. I usually sit near the door to greet whoever walks in. Sometimes we talk about the weather or how the road construction is going on White Sea Road. It is just a local clinic doing what it does every day. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there since we moved in. It feels like a second home after all these years. Nothing too special, just us and the daily grind of running a small place in the complex.
