Our little office for Pravin Nidhi Limited is located in Lote (Mal), which is part of the Khed taluka in Ratnagiri. If you’ve ever been to this part of Maharashtra, you know it’s a beautiful place but also very grounded. We operate out of a local spot that isn't hard to find if you’re from the area. We aren't some high-flying financial group from Mumbai. We’re just people from Ratnagiri who decided to start a Nidhi company to help out the locals. It’s a simple setup where we handle deposits and loans for our members. Most of the people who come in are our friends or neighbors we’ve known for years. We talk about the weather, the local crops, and then we get down to the money stuff. It’s not formal or stiff. We might offer you a glass of water while we look for your folder. There’s no pressure here. We understand that life happens and sometimes people need a little flexibility. We follow the government guidelines, of course, but we don't act like we’re better than anyone else. Being in a place like Lote, word travels fast, so we just try to be fair and keep our books straight. It’s a quiet life for the most part, but we take pride in being a small part of the local community here in Khed. It works for us and our members.
