Prakash Electricals

Prakash Electricals is located over in the CFC Building, specifically Block No. 3 in Kherdi. Being out here in Ratnagiri, we see a lot of people from the nearby areas coming in for wires, switches, and whatever else breaks at home. The building is easy to find once you get into Kherdi. It’s not a very fancy place, just a workspace filled with boxes and tools. I spend most of my day sorting through inventory or testing parts for customers. Sometimes the power goes out around here, which is ironic for an electrical shop, but we manage. My workbench is usually a mess of screwdrivers and bits of copper. I’ve lived in Ratnagiri my whole life, so I know most of the guys who come in looking for parts for their home projects. We don't really do any big advertisements. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign on the building. It gets dusty in the summer, so I'm always wiping down the glass counters. If you need something specific and we don't have it on the shelf, I usually try to get it in by the next week. It’s just me and sometimes a helper here. We keep the doors open six days a week. It is a steady job and we like being part of the Kherdi community. Not much more to say than that. We are just here doing the work every day and helping out where we can.
