Otari Aai Charitable Foundation

Chiplun is a place where you really feel the weather, especially during the monsoon. We are located at B67/1 in the Lote area, which is part of the Khed Taluka in Ratnagiri. Otari Aai Charitable Foundation isn't a big operation with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s just a building in a district that we know like the back of our hands. Being out here in Maharashtra, specifically the 415605 area, means we are close to the people we actually know. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy you can't hear yourself think, but we still show up to the office. It’s a practical setup. We have some desks, some old chairs, and a lot of passion for what happens in this community. Ratnagiri is a beautiful place, but it has its challenges like anywhere else. We handle things one day at a time. If someone needs help or if there's a local project, we talk it over right here in Chiplun. We don't use big words or have long meetings that don't lead anywhere. Most of the time, we're just drinking tea and looking at the lists of things that need to be done. It’s honest work. We aren't looking to expand into some giant organization; we just want to make sure the work we do from this little spot in Lote actually matters to our neighbors who live nearby.
