Manswa Foundation

Manswa Foundation is situated in a small village called Vagave, which is in the Chiplun Taluka of Ratnagiri. It is a very quiet place out here in the countryside. Our address is basically just "At Post Vagave," which tells you how small the village is. We work on local issues, mostly helping out with community things that come up in this part of Maharashtra. Living in Ratnagiri, we are surrounded by hills and trees, and the pace of life is quite different. We don't have a modern office building. We usually just meet at a local house or in a shared community space. It's very simple. We spend time talking to the farmers and the families living nearby. Sometimes we help with the local school or organize a small health camp if we can get a doctor to visit. There isn't a lot of money involved, just a lot of people giving their time. The roads out here can be tricky, especially during the monsoon when it rains a lot. But we stay here because this is where the help is needed. We aren't looking to grow into a big city organization. We just like being here in Vagave and doing what we can for the people we know. It’s just a basic way of living and helping out in our own corner of the world. We don't need much else to keep going.
