Manisha Pet

Down in the Mirjole Industrial Area, we run Manisha Pet at Plot No. E-. 43. It’s a typical MIDC setup. Most of our floor space is taken up by the machines that handle the plastic. It’s a bit noisy when everything is running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We spend a lot of time checking the preforms and the finished bottles. There’s a lot of heat involved in the process, so it stays pretty warm in the shed even during the winter. We aren't some massive corporation; it’s just a local operation here in Mirjole. The yard is usually full of sacks of raw materials or stacks of finished products waiting to go out. We don’t have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If you want to see what we do, you just come to the plot and see the machines in action. Keeping the molds clean and the cycles running is what occupies our minds. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend hours fixing them. It’s just the way it goes in this kind of trade. We’ve been part of this industrial community for a while, and we just keep our heads down and work. It's a lot of physical labor, moving the finished pet products and making sure the orders are ready for the trucks that come by in the afternoon. We try to be organized but it gets busy.
