Our place is down in the M.I.D.C. area at plot D-47. It’s an industrial zone, so there are factories everywhere you look. We specialize in pectin, which is a bit of a niche thing, but it keeps us busy. The facility is quite functional. We have big vats and pipes everywhere for the processing. It’s not the prettiest building, just a standard industrial unit with a lot of metal and concrete. Working here means dealing with a lot of heat and steam. We have a crew that stays on top of the machinery. Things break down sometimes, and we have to spend the whole weekend fixing a pump or a valve. That’s just part of the life in an industrial estate. We don't spend much time on marketing or trying to look fancy. Most of our work is just raw production and loading drums onto lorries. The office is just a small room by the main gate where the logs are kept. It gets pretty noisy when the machines are all running at once. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. We know the guards at the other gates and the guys who run the canteen down the road. It’s a basic operation. We focus on getting the chemistry right so the product works like it’s supposed to for the customers. We don't have any flashy brochures, just the product we make right here on the plot.
