Konkan Creamery Private Limited

We are based out of Chiplun, in the Ratnagiri district. You’ll find us at A-09 in Ghanekhadpoli. It’s a beautiful part of the country, though we spend most of our time inside the creamery. Being in Konkan means we deal with a lot of rain during the monsoon, which can make the roads a bit tricky for the dairy trucks. Konkan Creamery Private Limited has been at this for a bit now. It’s a family-style operation where everyone knows their role. We don't have a big corporate ladder here. If a floor needs scrubbing, the boss might be the one doing it. We handle the dairy production right here on site. It’s a lot of work keeping things cool and fresh, especially when the humidity kicks in. The town of Chiplun is small enough that word gets around by mouth, so we don't do much advertising. People know us for what we do, and that’s enough. We spend our days checking the cream and making sure the batches are right. It’s not always easy, and some days are longer than others, but we like the pace of life here in Ratnagiri. There’s something honest about working with food. We just try to do right by the local suppliers and keep the machines running smoothly. That’s about all there is to it for us.
