Kokan Fruit Processing

Kokan Fruit Processing is located over at Plot No 156/6 and 170/6. We are right across from the animal hospital, which is a good way to find us if you’re coming down that road. There’s another place nearby called Aradhya Fruits as well. Our facility is where all the work happens. It’s a very hands-on environment. Depending on the season, it can smell like all sorts of different fruits, which is one of the better parts of the job. It’s not a sterile laboratory; it’s a processing floor. We have machines humming, people washing fruit, and crates being stacked up high. It gets loud and sometimes a bit wet on the floor, so we all wear boots. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around in fancy chairs. Most of our day is spent on our feet, making sure the fruit is sorted and processed correctly. It’s hard work, especially when a big crop comes in all at once and we have to stay late to finish it. We’re just a local crew doing what needs to be done. We don’t use any complicated business words. We just talk about the fruit, the machines, and the weather. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to fix it ourselves with whatever tools we have. It’s a practical, busy place that keeps us on our toes all year round.
