Khalfe Developer Private Limited is a local outfit based out of Mandangad in the Ratnagiri district. You can find our main operations at Survey No 30D. We aren't like those big development firms you see in the major cities with their glass towers and fancy marketing teams. We are just local people who know how to build in this part of Maharashtra. Building things here in Ratnagiri comes with its own set of challenges, like the heavy monsoon rains that can put a stop to everything for months. We’ve learned how to work around the weather over the years. Our focus is mainly on residential projects and small commercial spaces that fit into the community. We use local materials when we can and hire workers from the surrounding villages because they know the land best. It’s important to us that what we build actually lasts and looks right in our town. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing up big plans; most of our day is spent at the site, checking the bricks and making sure the levels are right. We’ve faced our share of problems with supply lines and rising costs, but we just keep at it. Our office is a simple place where we handle the permits and meet with folks. We just think it’s right to do a solid day’s work and let the finished buildings show what we are about. It’s a quiet way of doing business.
