Kavita Kulkarni

Kavita Kulkarni operates out of a place called Sankalpana. It’s located in Sainagar, which is part of Pomendi Khurd in Ratnagiri. If you are driving on the Kajarghati to Kuwarbaon road, you’ll pass right by us. Ratnagiri is a beautiful place, but we spend most of our time inside working. The building isn't very big. It’s just enough room for what we do. We don’t have any fancy signs or big marketing displays. Most of the people who come here are locals or people who have been told where to find us. The road outside can be quiet during the afternoon, but it picks up in the morning. We’ve tried to keep the place organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project. That’s just how it is. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished office. We just want to make sure the work is done right. The air here is better than in the big cities, which we appreciate. Sometimes we sit outside for a minute to catch our breath. It’s a simple life here in Pomendi Khurd. We have our routine and we stick to it. Every day is pretty much the same, but that’s not a bad thing. We know the people around here and they know us. It’s a practical way to live and work without too much fuss.
