Fishtowne Private Limited

Fishtowne is located right in the Phansopkar Complex in Ratnagiri. If you know the area, it’s flat number 8. We deal with fish and the sea, which makes sense since we are so close to the coast here. The air always has that salty smell to it. Every day is a bit different depending on what comes in from the water. We spend a lot of time checking the quality and making sure everything is handled right. It’s not easy work, the hours can be strange. You have to be up early. The office isn't very big, but it’s where we manage all the logistics. Ratnagiri is famous for its seafood, so there is always a lot to do. We talk to the local fishermen and try to keep things organized. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and the catch is small, but we manage. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We are just a local team working out of a complex. You might walk right past our door if you aren't looking for it. It gets a bit noisy in the building during the day, but that’s just business. We've been here for a bit now and the locals know where to find us. It’s a simple setup. We just focus on getting the fish from the boats to where they need to go. No fancy gadgets or anything, just plain hard work and knowing the market inside and out.
