Deepak General Store

This is Deepak General Store. We are located at 518 Neelkanth Park in the Raviwar Peth area. It is a busy part of town and there is always something going on outside. I have been running this place for a good while now. We sell a bit of everything, from soap to cooking oil. The shop is not very large, but we pack a lot of inventory in here. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. Raviwar Peth is known for its markets, so competition is everywhere. I just focus on my own shelves and making sure I have what people ask for. I get my stock delivered twice a week. If the truck is late, I have to go get things myself on my scooter. It is hard work and my back hurts some days, but it is my living. My wife sometimes sits here in the afternoon so I can go home for lunch. We do not have a website or any of that stuff. People just know where we are. Some of the older folks in Neelkanth Park have been coming to me since I opened. We talk about the weather or the news while I bag their groceries. It is a simple life. I do not plan on changing much about how the shop runs. It works for us and it works for the neighbors.
