Prime Auto Body Industries

Our workshop for Prime Auto Body Industries is located at A15 in the MIDC area of Kherdi, right here in Chiplun. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise from the nearby factories and the trucks rolling past the gate. We have a pretty large shed where we do all the body work and repairs on different kinds of vehicles. It is not a quiet or clean job, but we are used to the smell of paint and the sound of metal being worked on all day. The roof is made of corrugated sheets, so when it rains in Chiplun, it gets incredibly loud inside. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Most of us just stay out on the shop floor where the work is actually happening. We have a small corner with a wooden desk where we keep the logs and take calls, but that is about it. The people who work here are local guys who know how to handle heavy machinery and tools. We have been at this A15 spot for years and the neighborhood knows us well. We don't do a lot of talking; we just get the denting and the painting done as best as we can. It is hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the MIDC estate, but we just keep at it. We are usually here from dawn until the evening shifts finish.
