We are located right in the heart of Ratnagiri, over in the Tilak Ali area. Our place is actually directly opposite the Tilak Mandir, which is a big landmark around here that everyone knows. Being at 3118 means we are right in the middle of all the local action. Running Bhide Hotels is a lot of work and it keeps us on our toes every single day. We don’t really go for the fancy marketing stuff you see elsewhere. We just focus on the rooms and the people coming through our doors. Ratnagiri is a beautiful town but the coastal weather can be tough on buildings, so we spend a lot of time on maintenance and keeping things clean. It’s a small operation with a handful of local staff who really know the neighborhood. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded during festivals at the Mandir, but we don’t mind the noise much. We just take things as they come and try to keep our guests comfortable without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and we like the slow but steady pace of life here. It’s just about doing the work and making sure everything is in its right place at the end of the day. There’s no big corporate mission here, just us trying to run a decent hotel business in our hometown.
