Pandya Masala Center

Pandya Masala Center is located at Survey No.17/1 in Jhabua. We are quite close to Mahatma Gandhi Marg, which is where most people go for their shopping. It is a plain shop with a lot of heavy sacks sitting around. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shutters and setting out the different masalas. Jhabua can get very hot, so we usually have the fan running all day while we measure out powders for the people who walk in. It is not a fancy place at all. The floor is concrete and there is always a bit of dust from the spices in the air. We know most of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets loud, but tucked back here at our survey number, it is a bit quieter. We do our own work, weighing everything on the old scales and tying up the bags with twine. It is hard work on the hands, but it is what we do. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the jars stay full. If you are looking for us, just head toward the Marg and ask someone where the masala shop is. Most people around here can point you in the right direction without much trouble at all.
