Natik Ice Candy

Our little spot is on Silawat Road in Palsud, right near Tremi Ji Ki Badi. We are in Ward No. 1, which is a place where everyone knows each other. Our work starts pretty early in the morning when we start prepping the molds for the ice candies. We use a lot of different colors and flavors because that is what the kids around here like the most. The road outside can get quite dusty, so we are constantly wiping down the counters and the glass. It is a small setup, nothing like those big factories you see in the cities. We just have our machines and our storage freezers. Being near Tremi Ji Ki Badi means we get people stopping by after they visit the area. The heat on Silawat Road can be really intense during the summer months, so we are usually working non-stop to keep up with the demand. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just make the candies and sell them to whoever walks in. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to worry about everything melting, but we usually find a way to make it work. It is just a few of us running Natik Ice Candy, trying to earn a living in Palsud. We like being here and seeing the local kids come by with their pocket money on their way home from school.
