Our place is right across from Amrit Garden on Sailana Road. If you get to Barbad Naka, you’ve pretty much found us. We deal in spices, and we’ve been doing it for a really long time. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. Inside, the air is always thick with the smell of different seeds and powders. It gets into your clothes after a while. We spend the mornings sorting through what comes in from the farms. It’s dusty work and can be pretty tiring on the feet. We aren't a big polished office with glass walls. We’ve got bags of spices stacked up and scales that have seen better days. The staff here knows exactly how to tell if a batch is good just by looking at it. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. We just sell what we have and hope people like the taste. The road outside is usually busy with trucks and people heading into town. It can get loud, but we’re used to it. We keep things moving, from cleaning the raw spices to packing them up for the shops. It’s a straightforward business. No one here puts on airs. We just show up, do the grinding and mixing, and go home. That’s how it’s been for years. It's just simple spice work that keeps us going.
