Kamla Eye Hospital

Kamla Eye Hospital is tucked away at No. 100 A in Naharpura, right in Gali No. 1 near Nazarpura. It is a bit of a narrow street, so it can be easy to miss if you aren't looking for the sign. We’ve been operating in this same spot for a long time, focusing entirely on eyes. People come in when their vision starts getting blurry or when they need new glasses. The building is older and has that lived-in feel, with narrow hallways and small exam rooms. We have some of the standard machines for checking eyes, and we spend our days looking at charts and testing lenses. It’s not a flashy hospital with glass walls or high-tech lobbies. It’s more of a functional place where the neighbors from Nazarpura come when they have a scratchy eye or a problem seeing. Sometimes the waiting area gets quite full, and people have to stand out in the hallway for a bit. We just do our work and try to help people see a little better. The staff here is used to the pace and the local crowd. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to a general hospital, but we stay steady. If you walk down the alleyway in Gali No. 1, you will find us there, just doing the same thing we’ve done for years and years. We focus on the eyes and leave everything else to the bigger hospitals. It is simple work, but it keeps us very busy.
