Kalka Traders

Kalka Traders is based in Plot No-406 of Abhilasha Apartment. This is in the Ved Vihar Colony, near Suraj Hall. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s quieter than being on a main road. We have our office in one of the rooms of the apartment. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and the computer equipment, but it works for us. We’ve been here for a couple of years. Most of our work is done over the phone or on the computer. We don't get many walk-in visitors, but when we do, they usually get lost trying to find the right block in the colony. We always tell them to look for Suraj Hall first. The building is okay, though the elevator is a bit slow and sometimes breaks down. Then we have to carry everything up the stairs, which isn't fun at all. We are just a few people working together. We don't have any big titles or corporate hierarchy. We just do whatever needs doing at the moment. Some days we finish early, and some days we are here until late at night. The view from the window is just other buildings. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We just want to keep things steady and make sure the work is done without any big drama. It’s a simple, local way of doing business in Ved Vihar. We are happy to stay small.
