Jeevan Jyoti Hospital

Jeevan Jyoti Hospital is right here in Meghnager. We don’t have a long street address because everyone around here knows where the hospital is. It’s a small town feel, and we like it that way. The building is one of the more familiar sights in the area. We start our day early, usually before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of dust on the roads sometimes, so we spend a good bit of time sweeping the front entrance. Inside, the rooms are plain but they are kept as clean as we can manage. We have a few benches outside for when it gets crowded. People come from the nearby villages too, not just from within Meghnager itself. We know most of the families by name, which makes the work feel more personal. It’s not like those big city hospitals where everything is glass and metal. We have brick walls and heavy doors. Our team is small, mostly people who have grown up in this region. We keep a teapot going in the back for the staff. The rhythm of the day depends on who walks through the door. Sometimes it is very quiet and we just organize the files. Other times, it gets quite hectic and we are all on our feet for hours. We are just a part of the daily life in Meghnager, doing what needs to be done. The hospital is just a basic place for people to come when they need help.
