Technochem Engineers

Technochem Engineers is based at 69 Industrial Area. The name of the street is just Industrial Area, which tells you exactly what kind of neighborhood it is. There’s a lot of metal clanging and the smell of oil around here. Our office is right next to where we keep the equipment, so it’s never really quiet. We are engineers who spend more time on the shop floor than behind a desk. Most of our day involves looking at machines or trying to figure out why a pump isn't working right. We’ve got grease on our clothes more often than not. It’s a simple setup with some heavy workbenches and a few old computers for the drawings. We don’t really bother with fancy decor or anything like that. The people who work here have been doing this for a long time, and we just get on with things. Sometimes a customer will drop by with a broken part, and we’ll stand around it talking about how to fix it over a cup of tea. It’s a very practical environment. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there, just the one that gets the job done without any fuss. The industrial area is a bit gritty, but it’s where we belong. We just work on the machines until they run the way they’re supposed to.
