Gaurav Policlinic

Our policlinic is situated near the Civil Hospital in the Are area. It’s a very handy location because a lot of people already come to this part of the city when they need medical attention. We are a bit smaller than the big hospital, and I think that makes people feel more comfortable when they walk in. It’s less of a maze here. We have different doctors who come in at various times of the day to see patients. The building itself is quite simple and modest. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or any expensive art on the walls. It’s just some plastic chairs for waiting and a few rooms where the consultations happen. I spend my time keeping track of the appointments and making sure the files are where they should be. We see all sorts of people every day. Some just have a persistent cough, some need to check their sugar levels, and others just want some medical advice. Being so close to the Civil Hospital means the street outside is always full of activity with ambulances and people. We try to be a place where things are a bit more personal and slow so we can listen to what people are saying. We’ve been in the Are area for a long time. Most of the people living around here know where to find us. We don't do any real advertising, we just rely on people telling their neighbors about us. We just keep things running as well as we can.
