Our place is in Choumukni. It’s just a simple coaching center where students come after their regular school hours. We have a few rooms with basic wooden benches and whiteboards that have seen better days. It gets pretty noisy in the afternoons when the kids arrive. They bring a lot of energy, and sometimes a lot of complaints about their homework. We just try to help them understand their lessons better, whether it’s math or science or whatever else they’re struggling with. We aren't a big institution with hundreds of staff. It’s just a couple of us who actually enjoy teaching. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the books. Choumukni is a decent spot, easy for the local kids to get to. We stay open until late in the evening because that’s when most students are free. There’s usually a pile of notebooks on the main desk waiting to be checked. Sometimes we lose a pen or two, and the lights flicker when it rains, but the teaching goes on. We’ve seen many batches of students come through these doors. Some are hardworking, some need a bit of a push. We just take it day by day and try to make sure they learn something before they head home for dinner. It's just a local spot for learning without any of the big school pressure.
