Amber Printing Press

Amber Printing Press is over in Chitli Bazar at C-41. If you know Jaora, you know how tight the streets can get around here. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the shop is pretty much filled with paper and the smell of ink. It’s a small space, so we have to keep things organized, though it doesn't always look like it. We do all the regular printing stuff folks in the bazar need. Most days start early before the market gets too crowded. We get a lot of locals coming in for small jobs, like wedding cards or flyers for their own shops. The machines are old but they still work fine as long as we treat them right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the step and talk to the other shopkeepers until it comes back on. That's just how life is in the bazar. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to run the presses. It's dusty and loud when the machines are running, but it's a good kind of busy. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a printing press in Jaora, doing what we know how to do. You can find us easily enough if you're walking through Chitli Bazar; just look for the stacks of paper near the door. It's nothing special but it's our shop.
